Longham

Tempted over to see the Blue-headed Wagtail this afternoon.



It was in the company of 3 White Wagtails and a few Pieds


Surprising how small it was compared to the albas

Also many Hirundines held up by the inclement weather. There must have been over 300 Sand Martin there late afternoon, also around 50 Swallows and at least 2 House Martin. Four ad Meds over later.




A Peregrine took some interest in the hirundines, putting them high in the air on a number of occasions


Found the Blue-headed Wag taking refuge on its own high up in a tree
