Somerset

Off to Meare Heath today.

Long-billed Dowitcher asleep for virtually all of the time, but did put its head up a couple of times.
Quite early LRP
Peregrine paid a visit which woke everything up
Dowitcher bottom right

Also in here, near the back
Next stop Chew, to catch up with the Lesser Scaup. The bird was out in the middle of the lake constantly diving, making it very difficult to digiscope. As soon as you located it and got the camera to the scope the thing had dived again. The wind didnt help either.
Just took as many photos as I could and hoped for the best.
A couple thankfully did come out taking the photographic year list to 145 by BOU

Egyptian Goose also about.
