Cracking views of Waxwings in roadside trees at Astral Road, Poole this morning. Unfortunately they were from the car and couldnt stop. Parked round the corner only to see them all fly over our heads heading for Canford Heath.
Then just in front of us appeared this Lapwing feeding on the grass, and later walking around the flats
A few Waxwings did come back to a rather tall tree where I only managed to get a couple of overexposed shots of their backs (settings still for Lapwing) before they were off again.
